Visit the Bean sitting idyllically in the middle of Millennium Park overlooking Michigan Avenue.   This giant selfie magnet is officially called Cloud Gate.  It was unveiled in 2004 and weighs in at 110 tons!  This is one of Chicago’s many permanent art installations and one of the most popular attractions in the City.  This magnificent piece of polished metal reflects the historic block of Michigan Avenue while placing you in it!

Is there anything more classically Chicago?  It is hard to say.  Buckingham Fountain was completed during the roaring ‘20s and has since become Grant Park’s centerpiece.  Chicagoans explore the French inspired parks and the fountain from Mid-May through October.  A unique water display kicks off on the hour and lasts for 20 minutes.

Explore our very own floating cultural attraction.  Navy Pier was completed in 1916 and has worn many hats since its original conception.
